Proofing and Resting Time: 30 minutes
Baking Time: 10 – 15 minutes
Outcome: 22 Biscuits
Tools needed: Mixer including bowl, Kitchen scale, baking tray
Ingredients and Method
Ingredients 125 g Avena Vital 375 g Cake flour 10 g Baking powder 250 g Sugar 250 g Butter 75 ml Whole egg Method Mix all Ingredients with a beater for 3 – 5 minutes slow, until a smooth dough has been formed. Be sure not to over mix the dough. Once your dough is smooth, leave the dough in the bowl and allow to stand in a cool place for at least 30 minutes. Roll the dough out to a thickness of approx. 0.5 cm by hand or machine and cut out shapes with a cookie / biscuit cutter. The oven should have a temperature of 160° C when you put the biscuits in. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes (depending on size/weight). Once cool decorated the biscuits as you desire.
